Providing a New Beginning

Here at Providing Prosthetics we see a future for everyone.

We strive to be a pillar of hope and create a sense of family here at Providing Prosthetics. We aim to connect and help any child, person or animal with a prosthetic eye or facial device and a feeling of belonging in a world that can be difficult to navigate.

We believe that every living being deserves a chance to feel loved and have a sense of belonging. For a lot of disadvantaged children and adults, we aim to be the missing link in helping them acquire a prosthetic eye or facial device. It does not end there. We also go even further by saving an animal’s life by providing them the ability to have eye saving surgery, any facial device or prosthetic eye, and/or provide them a loving forever home.

Approximately one-third of the estimated 2.4 million eye injuries that occur annually in the United States are in people age 17 and younger. Retinoblastoma is a rare type of eye cancer that can affect young children, usually under the age of 5. The majority of the other eye injuries are due to diabetes and accidents that have happened at work, in the home, or during sports activities. Thus causing vision damage and even blindness. Car accidents, children playing with sticks or bb guns, and even falls are the most common causes of losing an eye.
